What’s your preferred style of leadership? Perhaps your answer would be something like, “In what circumstances?”, or, “Who with?”

To put it bluntly, who cares what your preferred style is? It’s the needs of the situation, or of the followers, that should dictate your choice of style.

People aren’t machines and need different styles of leadership depending on the circumstances, their level of ability and their confidence and willingness to do the job. It’s self-indulgent to adopt a style of leadership that’s the same for everyone just because you like it and it suits your personality.
