Helping to inspire the next generation of women in the Arts
It’s been quite an exciting few weeks for us at Leaders Lab. What started as a lively conversation over dinner at the First Women Awards last year, has turned into an innovative and really inspiring opportunity.
Starting in October this year, we will be working with the independent charity The Legacy List to run a management development programme for an up-and-coming group of women who work in the Arts in and around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in East London.
The Legacy List embodies far more than its name implies. Established in 2011 as the charity for the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to support the legacy of the London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics, it is instrumental in developing and commissioning arts and education initiatives.
Leaders Lab is delighted to be helping The Legacy List with one of their pioneering arts skills initiatives. The first phase of our coaching programme is designed for a group of motivated young women, who all work for inspiring arts organisations in the capital. Over five sessions from autumn 2014 to spring 2015, we will be helping these aspirational and talented women to develop their skills in managing both themselves and others in their creative organisations.
We can’t wait to get started!
